    Hi,
I have a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo M3438G and since a couple of days PowerCinema doens't want to start any more.
I tried F S but was told to buy a new cd with the PowerCinema program, since the guarantee has run out.
Does anyone else have this problem and is there a fix to it?

A couple of weeks ago I ran an on-line test program called "Home Call" to clear some registries, and I wonder whether this program destroyed something which PowerCinema needs.

In any case, I would be grateful for some feedback from anyone with similar problems, and whether there is a fix for it.
    Thanks in advance.
    Bye.
    Martin

You should have recieved a PowerCinema CD with your notebook. Fujitsu Siemens give you many of CD's, from which the programs are installed from. Try reinstalling the program, and see if that makes a difference.

    Sorry,
I checked and got it confirmed, PowerCinema was pre-installed on the Amilo, and no cd came with the purchase.

In that case, a new copy may be required. It should sort the problem out. Alternatively, you can use other programs that are just as good, if not better. There are many out there on the market, so its a case of which you prefer. You will lose the ability to watch DVD's when the notebook if off, but the program used to create that effect was quite poor, and often caused problems.
