    Hi

Choose your product wisely. Go for the cheapest price? Think again. Why is it cheap? To answer you…because you don’t pay for WARRENTY SUPPORT… That’s why you won’t get support if the laptop is still under guarantee.

Read this. Maybe this can confirm my story and recommendation:

I bought a Fujitsu Siemens AMILO L 1310G Celeron from Macro Milnerton South Africa:
Specs are good. 512mb, 80gb HD, dual layer DVD writer, 1,6ghz.

This laptop was not for business purposes but for a University student (my daughter)

After 2 months we start realizing it overheating in the room and (because of her studies) use this every day.

So I took it back (to Makro) under guarantee and my problems started. Mackro gave me a card of DW PC Corp. who is the co. that going to fix it.

Every second day, I had to phone them to find out if it fixed. Every time I was promised hey wait on the part from Johannesburg. Than after a week they inform me that they realize a batch of these laptops had a default CPU Fan and they ordered from Germany. My question. Why than not order a batch of these fans from Germany?

So after 2 weeks I got a phone call that I can com and collect the laptop in 2 days time. I also arrange with Makro that I will go and collect the laptop. Ont the agreed day, I phone DW PC Corp, and they told me they not receive the CPU Fan .

I decide to phone Fujitsu Siemens JHB (011 652 7200) and spoke to Len. Yesterday afternoon he phones me and old me he has arrange that I can go and collect the laptop THIS MORNING at 8H10.

So at 10h00 this morning I phoned DW PC Corp to confirm, I’m on my way…. and guess what.

They told me they don’t have the part.

So, after Macro, DW PC Corp and Fujitsu Siemens (Len) phoned me confirming that it would be ready yesterday, than today, the people who need to replace the CPU Fan, still don’t have a replacement fan.

Will I buy Fujitsu Siemens again?……… NO.

    You decide…..Pay lesser for a laptop…..and DON’T RECEIVE WARRENTY SERVICE ?

Good luck to all who still buy from Fujitsu Siemens

I’m going to publish this on ALL the LAPTOP Review web sites on the internet.

    phone calls was made on: 14/3/06, 15/3, 17/3, 22/3, 28/3, 30/3, 31/3.
Note that variuos was made on the same day to diff people.

People that was called between the different Co's: Dorian, Christel, Matsha, Simone, Leanda, Clarise, Len

It seems that broken promises and excuses is the only policy
