Recently, I did a recovery of my windows xp by using the recovery cd provided by fujitsu, after a 30 mins of recovering, it said recovery of disk C is successful and asked for a reboot. when rebooted, the original windows xp on C drive is still there. when I did a check of my computer, i found the recovery program actually erased my external harddisk which is H drive, and I lost all my data on this harddisk.

so bad, any one can help me??

They do make software that can recover deleted software. I can't remember the names off the top of my head.

it specifically says remove all external drives when you reformat the computer if you read everything.
