    Hi everyone,
i have jsut recently started looking at Fujitsu laptops and came Across this one at Fry's:
    Fujitsu N262
    Pentium 4 3.2GHZ processor
    512 MB Pc2700 (2x256)
    60 Gb HD (5400 RPM)
    Super A/g Aetheros
    128MB ATI Radeon Mobility 9700
    17" WXGA
    Win XP Home
    This was $1849.99
is this a good price?, and on top of that, is this a good notebook for a desktop replacement which will run games semi-frequently ( Half-life 2/ CS Source). Any help would be greatly appreciated!
    thanks

Fujitsu N262? Are you sure about that, I know of no Fujitsu N2 series, I think maybe you're referring to the N6000 series since that is their desktop replacement class notebook.

The N6000 is a nice notebook with a gorgeous screen.

I checked it out, and a similarly spec'd N6010 at portableone would go for $1729 with free 2-day shipping. I know there are a bunch of members on this forum that would vouch for portableone. I've ordered a few units from them, and they've been absolutely great.

here's a link if you want to check it out...

The N6010's a great unit. I've had mine for about a week, and i still can't get over how nice it is [ :)]

I saw something similer at Frys, they had a P7010 for sale as a Frys Fujitsu 2XX(?). You have to turn the lappy over to find the Fujitsu label with the Fujitsu model number.

I believe Frys is an after market reseller of Fujitsu as is Portable 1.

Portable 1 had slightly lower pricing on the one I was comparing.

The Fujitsu N262 is the N6000 series. It would be a very good desktop replacement plus it will play HL2/CSS without a doubt.

Fujitsu S6210: PentiumM 1.6Ghz 1GB DDR333 RAM 7K60 Hard Drive DVD RW Drive...
What more do I need for this thing?
