    Hello,

I have three questions about Fujitsu notebooks:

    1) How is the screen brightness for outdoors? I am looking to be able to do work/coding a few hours on patios/balconies/beach without straining my eyes.

    2) How does the reliability compare to the IBM T-series? That's what I have now (T41).

    3) Is the S7110 the model that compares to the T-series?

    Thank you for your replies!

    1) my crystal view screen from 3 years ago fails miserably in sunlight. It's dim, but passable in shade.

    2) I don't have an IBM, so I can't say. Check out the thread on lifespan that's floating around here. My N5010 lost a rubbber foot and the cable on the AC adapter melted after three years. Otherwise, runs like a champ.

    3) Not sure. It's a 14" screen, though.

    1. Can't say for outdoors use but my N6410 has by far the brightest screen I've even seen indoors.

    2. I have an IBM T43 and it to is one of the best computers I've ever owned. I would highly recommend either brand.

    Hope this info helps.
