I ordered an S2110 on 9/11 and just today, P1 sent me an email saying that the statuf of the order has changed to shipping. It's now in California, I think. I tried tracking it on UPS or whatever but it didn't give me a delivery date estimate. So I'm asking, how long will it take for the laptop to reach me here in VA? I might be gone over the weekend, so it'd be nice to know. Thanks.

Depends on how it was shipped, but UPS and FedEx don't deliver on teh weekend anyway.

It shouldnt be long, as the P1 "free shipping" isnt normal ground, its two day shipping, so I would be expecting it in the next day or two :)

Make sure you make some comments on it, I am very close to purchasing an S2110. Also, what upgrades did you get with it?

I'm thinking of maybe applying to do a review on it for notebookreview.com :) Depends on how heavy the school work gets once it arrives.

Well, I actually decided to steal your idea and try out the Samsung Spinpoint :D I bought it off of newegg.com since zipzoomfly was sold out -- I should be getting it any day now as well. From zzf I ordered a 512 MB stick of RAM to bring up my total RAM to 1GB.

Do you have any tips for installing the HDD yourself? Any online tutorials with DETAILED pics? I don't think the user manual would have instructions since HDD isn't really user upgradable?
