Hi, I needed to replace my laptop quickly and found the fullsize keyboard a must. Also the 17" screen is a nice bonus. I replaced my Vaio PCG-GRV670 that I've had a bit over 4 yrs now with the n6410. My goal was something fast with good size memory.
I didn't have much time and there were not too many choices as far as what was on the shelfs in the stores but it seemed that the n6410 pretty much had all the whisles and bells, speed and mem. T2400 1.83, 1mb, 160 HD, although at 5400rpms, great screen and tv turner media etc.
This is a total replacement for my business and personal. You will find no desktop in my home and office. Most of my work is Spreadsheets/QB/MS Office software. The rest is internet surfing and some video editing / photography as my hobbie.
So with as quick a replacement this need to be, did I make a good choice? Price with a new case, extra ac adpt and 3 yrs ext. warr. w/loaner all came out to about $2400.00 including sales tax.

Price sounds about right with the extended warranty and all. The N6410 is a gorgeous machine. I think you'll be very happy with it, especially if a desktop replacement is what you were aiming for.

The N6410 is slated for the new Intel Core 2 Duo processor. As this will be a major purchase for you, I would wait. Fujitsu website states C2D will be intro. in the 4th qtr 2006 - and MANY of the other notebook manf. are rolling out the new processor.
Just a thought.
Good Deal / choice? n6410
