I ordered it more than two weeks ago, and after long long wait I finally have it now!
After I placed my order, Ivan told me that due to a shortage of supply, my loptop would not be shipped until 9/13, and he gave me a chance to give up my order.Although I decided to wait, I really appreciated this![]
And it was only 10th yesterday, when I went home in midnight, I was totally surprised to see it already arrived! I have to blame P1 for this though, they should, like other retailers, send me an email when they ship. But they more than keeped their promise, which is good business practice[8D]
To make a long thread short, I opened the box and tested around with my laptop today. OMG! I was totally amazed at this gorgeous screen!!!
It was much better than I thought, even though I really had read almost all threads in this board before my purchase, and chose it at least half for the screen. And no, I'm not lying[]
I guess I have to blame you guys for this, you have made so many threads discussing the screen, but you still failed to show me how good it is!
OK, I was joking, thank you for helping me make the right choice.[]
I have played with my new toy for a whole day now, no dead pix, fast and amazingly silent, not much heat, all so satisfying.
But there are still several concerns:
1.Why did they decide to use a LCD to display status info? It should be more expensive, and although cool, impossible to use at night. Or does it support backlight that I have not discovered?
2.The touchpad is buggy, during my test I just used one finger scrolling on the pad with all my other fingers apart from the machine, while still it was QUITE FREQUENT that a left click happened. If I remember right, someone on this board said that the new driver could fix this, I have not tried it though.
Edit: I understand now, it's not a bug at all. Sorry for bothering.[:I]

The LCD as a display info is quite a cool feature on there, though it doesn't have a backlight (wish it did), it was probably designed to have less obstructed lighting on it so it can be used in the dark. And the touch pad is just probably because when typing, your thumbs slightly touch it and it moves along with it. I have the same issue too, but I use a little USB and disable the touchpad when the mouse is plugged in.
