hey all.
i think my computer's motherboard is dying a slow, painfull death. i'm in need of replacing it i believe.
the big thing is, i want a better one that's in there right now. i know not all motherboards are made the same. i need to know what all i need to take into account when shopping for a new mobo.
how do i know if it's for a laptop or a desktop? what about the power supply? etc...

You want to replace the motherboard in your notebook? What model? Lastly, good luck with that...replacing the notebook motherboard is not easy.

oh man, replacing the motherboard on a notebook would be very tough, they're made very specifically for certain model series and configurations, and usually to do anything such as that you'd have to send it back to the manufacturer and they'd charge you almost the cost of a new laptop to replace it.

impactcomputers.com. If they don't have it, they can get it. Good luck on the replacement.
HUGE undertaking
