Hey, I haven't posted here in a while - I have a Fujitsu S6210 or 20... whatever. Anyway, I've had it for about a year now and love it (even though it does still has a random cluster of stuck pixels). Today I realized that my hard drive space is almost up. I bought it through PortableOne and upgraded to the 60gig 7200rpm drive, but now need more space (thanks college for having T1 modems).

Anyone have any recommendations as far as an external hard drive that is not too pricey? I think about 40-60 gigs would be sufficient for now.

    Thanks in advance!

    you want a small (notebook) 2.5" drive? Or a regular(desktop) 3.5" drive?

The 2.5" can be powered by the notebook. No need for external extra power. But might cost a bit more. (You will have to buy a drive, and an enclosure and put it together. That's what I did.)

[EDIT]: Actually IOGEAR have some 2.5" drives already installed in an enclosure in case you're interested in 2.5" and don't feel like doing the construction your self, although it's easy.

I've been casually pricing them myself. The barrier is getting close to $1/gig with one 120 gig model at sams club selling for less than $1/gig.
