Hi, my first post here and btw I'm loving the site + forums.

I'm in the market for new laptop. I sold my two year old 12" Apple PowerBook 2 weeks ago and right now looking for a new PC laptop. PC because I'm going to IT college in Europe and I know for a fact that all the coding and work is done/submitted in Windows so I kinda had to give up my Apple baby. After reading most of the threads in this section of the forum and reviews I narrowed down my choices to Fujitsu S6231. The question I have is how often does this company upgrade their line of notebook. I think I can wait 2-3 months till the purchase.

I don't think you'll see massive improvements in 2-3 months. The 6231 has only been out a few weeks. Fujitsu is more evolutionary, bumping up processor speeds .1 GHz at a time as Intel releases new ones, adding a new wireless card when they come out, etc. The only significant change I could see is an addition of Bluetooth. I could be wrong, but I've been watching them for a long time.

    Cool, thanx!

I guess I'll have to wait for a couple of more paychecks and buy it. [ :D]
