I don't know about the remote but DVD/CD combo means no DVD burner just a DVD reader and CD writer.

No remote. The remote only comes with TV-Tuner option.
This config is for a CD Writer.
I would recommend you get an external DVD burner if you need one. Cause for less than the cost of the upgrade you can get an external writer with Dual layer capability. The ones that you have the option of fitting into the N6010 are single layer.

I don't know where you were checking pricing and from where you intend to buy. But let me recommend www.portableone.com you get excellent customer service and for the same price you get a free upgrade to 80 gig HDD, or you can keep the 60 gig and get -$100 off the price.

If they have it in stock and you ask for no changes or additions to the base model, they will ship the same day evening and you will have it 2 business days from then. So tomorrow, or actually today (it's 4:20am local) is Wed, so you'll have it friday before 5 or 7pm (for residential addresses, if I remember correctly how FedEX operate!).

Now if you want to add something like RAMs they MIGHT still get it out the same day, but anything else takes time, cause they order a unit built to your specs direct from fujitsu.

Best way to know is to actually call P1 when they open and ask!!! [)]
