I am close to making my decision: Fujitsu S6220 with 60GB 7k

I am a programmer ( .net / Database Development) and looking for a notebook that has enough power to run heavy database applicaions and that I can carry around at the same time.

    Any comments on my decision?

Where are you getting it from?

    How much RAM is there?

I dont know how "heavy" the database applications are, but you may want to look into it to see if you really need the expensive dothan, or if the banias would be okay.

My only concern for you is that the home and end keys require the function key. This might be a problem for you.

It has them... they are just placed 'underneath' the Page Up/Down buttons next to the arrow keys and can be accessed with a FN + PG up/down.
