Good!
Ever since I moved to Canada from US, I can't seem to find a decent price on RAM (well, actually on anything). I took newegg for granted and here I am only been able to drool at their price.
Anyway, I found this website computermemorycanada.com which sells brand name RAM for great price. They sell Corsair, OCZ, Kingston.
But that's not the best part. I called in the morning and I picked up the RAM at their warehouse in the afternoon. And they offered to installed the RAM too.
No shipping charge, brand name RAM, and they have it in stock. What more can I ask?
So, right now my N6010 has 1 GB stick and 256MB stick.
I'm thinking of probably selling both 256MB stick and just have 1GB RAM. Does it make sense to buy one more 1GB? hmm......
The notebook feels faster now. I play need for speed game and it's noticibly faster now.
Thanks for reading.

www.tigerdirect.ca and www.ncix.com are the best ones in Canada.
NCIX more so. -
Unfortunately, NCIX.com don't stock.
And they are charging me shipping even though the item is ship to the store for me to pick up (I live 3 blocks from their store).
Soooo adding the shipping charge, it becomes less of a bargain. -
YOu can just order in person from NCIX. You just have to call them.

I checked both tigerdirect.ca and ncix.com
The Ram that I bought is Corsair ValueSelect (yes, I'm cheap) 1GB PC3200 DDR.
I paid $136.08
Tigerdirect.ca charge $139.99
NCIX.com doesn't have 1GB DDR stick at all (not listed on their website)
A little bit of saving compare to tigerdirect
Oh, and they also sell Hitachi Hard Drive 7200rpm 80GB for $165.
Tigerdirect sell it for $178
I'm thinking of upgrading the HD of my N6010 since it's only 4200rpm..... but don't know if the upgrade will be significant. I got to read more postings.
The Hitachi 100GB 7200rpm is $195.
For those who live in Vancouver, I think this place can serve as another option to check for prices. More option is always good. -
you will love the bump in boot speed if you bump from 4200 to 7200 RPM HDD. You should check out storagereview.com if you want to read up on HDD reviews. They do notebook as well as desktop models now

Thanks for the link, noahsark.
That new hybrid HD looks like the future, too bad it's still too expensive. -
Yeah, there's some really cool HDD technology in the pipe- perpendicular writing, NAND, and so on. Makes me drool just thinking about it....
I upgraded my RAM and it feels sooooo.....
