    Hi,
I accidentaly used an AC adapter with inverted polarity to power an S2110 :(
It still works, but battery is not charging anymore.
    I think - and I hope - that's just a matter with a fuse.

Is someone have past experiences with an issue like that ?
Is it doable to open the laptop and replace the fuse myself ?
One maintener I contact propose to do the job for 300 euros (440$). What would be a reasonable price for you ?

If you're saying that the machine still runs, but doesn't charge the battery, you probably just need either a new battery or (less likely) a new power adapter.

I don't know of any laptops that use fuses.

yeah.. Hopefully you didnt screw up your laptop and you just need a new battery... and i dont think you need a new power supply if its still providing power to the notebook

It looks like I didn't explain my problem well.
The laptop do not take power from the power supply. I have several AC adapter so I sure the problem come from the laptop.
The laptop still functions on batteries, but those are not charging because of the previous reason.
I finally found a repairer. I'll tell you the final diagnostic and price.
