Hi. I bought a second Amilo, an La1703, to use 'on the move' and it has a problem. Now, when I plug-in the headphones the internal speaker doesn't cut out. I get sound from the notebook and headphones. Is there anyway to correct this - even if I have to permanently disable the notebook speaker, not disconect it internally as this would invalidate my waranty, I assume. Thanks.

Thanks for reply. That's the first thing I did.

I had prevented HDAudioCPL.exe from auto starting, which was the cause of the problem. Strange that this has to be running. Oh well, an otherwise pointless startup program is now autostarting and all is well.
