    Is it to thick to be that portable?

    The N3500 series are heavy compared to other 15.4" notebooks. I think that's the main difference for portability compared to others.

    They are not really meant to be portable so much as a desktop replacement (or "desktop alternative", as Fujitsu states on their web site). The E8000 series is probably a lighter, more portable 15" alternative, although not as aesthetically pleasing as the N3500.

    I think thickness and weight totally depends on personal standard...
    I think N3530 is portable enough if you will carry your laptop in backpack with AC adapter.

    (I don't mind thickness and weight personally)

    i had it, its heavy but still portable....its solid as hell though, which i think makes up for how thick it is.
