Is the N3530 really thick. Judging from this pic it is.

But im not trying to let a pic sway my decision. Fujitsu's arent that common so i cant test them out.
BTW this is coming from a Vaio fan, so how would u compare sizes?

The N3500 series are heavy compared to other 15.4" notebooks. I think that's the main difference for portability compared to others.

They are not really meant to be portable so much as a desktop replacement (or "desktop alternative", as Fujitsu states on their web site). The E8000 series is probably a lighter, more portable 15" alternative, although not as aesthetically pleasing as the N3500.

I think thickness and weight totally depends on personal standard...
I think N3530 is portable enough if you will carry your laptop in backpack with AC adapter.

i had it, its heavy but still portable....its solid as hell though, which i think makes up for how thick it is.
Is it to thick to be that portable?
