So I just bought a Fujitsu N3530 from Fry's to replace my 17" N6010, I have to admit that the Fujitsu's screens are spectacular, but this 15.4" is not as good as the 17" on my N6010, for some reason I notice that the image color is not as deep (maybe it's adjustable?) And it's not as bright as the 17" at max brightness. The lid is very sturdy.
Other than the screen, overall built is very good, I wish that Fujitsu made the palm rest area with a coat of clearcoat like the N6010 because it will look somewhat nicer I think. It's a bit heavier than usual 15.4", but I don't see any problem with it.
Gonna change my sig now and the N6010 is up for sell.

Congrats.
You gave up the N6010!!! how could you. My N6010 still turns heads, and people ask me about it thinking its something that is brand new, while in fact it is nearing 2 years since release.
Do you notice much of a performance difference? Graphics and CPU? -
Well for daily usage, I see quite a improvement (like multiple programs, boot time and such) Maybe due to my slow 4200 100gb on the n6010, I haven't tried any high end games yet because I only play FF XI, and it's a quite bit faster than the n6010.
average FPS in FF XI with everything in MAX settings:
in same spot: Valkruym Dunes
N6010 FPS: 13.9 - 16.0
N3530 FPS: 26.5 - 29.8
Pro over N6010:
- lighter, smaller (duh -__-)
- a bit faster in various situations
- no more of the crazy fan noise
- battery last a lot longer
- well, core duo, newer technology should last me longer
- since smaller, lid = more sturdy and less flex
- keyboard is firmer
Con:
- well, the screen (the 17" is unbeatable)
- it has a full size keyboard (number pad)
- it has TV tuner w/ remote (I didn't buy TV tuner option for my N3530)
- the ATI X1400 has only 64mb dedicated and other 64 from system memory
- N6010 has way better speakers + woofer
- N6010 design is better (IMHO)
- I have to say again, the 17" on N6010 still is something I couldn't really give up.
Before I get this N3530, I was thinking about getting the N6410 with same specs but bigger harddrives (2x160gb dual harddrives), but at the price tag of $2200 something, I don't think I can afford it at this moment, but if the price is close to $1600 or something, I will get it over this N3530. As notice in my sig., I have a P7010 to use as well, so this N serie will stay home pretty much most the time....
Just bought new a Fujitsu N3530
