I agonized between Dell 9300 and Fujitsu over past couple weeks. Dell has better GPU but their 1440 screen sucks. Fujitsu has spectacular screen, but wish they had better vid card. Also ordered modular tray for second hard drive (80GB/7200 enroute from newegg).

For those with the 6220, does it handle the newer games like FEAR ok? Any issues I should look out for? Hoping for arrival b4 xmas! :fujitsu:

it handles it ok, but not extremely well, it is quite playable though

good choice by the way, but yeah i'm suprized fujitsu doesn't offer a X700 for the N series that would be fantastic

hey waynet please run 3dmark05 when you get your N6220, i think my N6210 is running hypermemory and i just want to see if yours also says 256mb in 3dmark05 thanks

and tttttada have you run 3dmark 05? does it say your X600 is using 256mb of video memory?

    Thanks!

    absolutely!

agree - a top notch machine with an average GPU; if fuji figures out how to stuff an ATI 6800 or 7800 into an N6000 platform, that would be heaven

you mean Nvidia? I wish they would just send me a Nvidia GeForce Go 7800 GTX that will just pop right into my motherboard :)

or maybe a ATI x1800 XT Mobile Radeon 512mb :) if that will ever exist :)

Ya its the background but its the screensaver also hehee, no im using the latest by fujitsu, i cant get anything else to work with it. Does the new driver work ok am i supposed to use that one ?

I was under the impression that i can only use fujitsu ati drivers.

I use xp pro so i dont know how to get that screensaver back etc.

...sounds decent to me, coming from an old Dell8600 which, on a good day, scores 170 on 3Dmark05 but plays everything pretty well but FEAR

did the circa drivers improve the 3Dmark05 score?
