    I just ordered a S6220 from portableone.

    Hope I made the right decision.

    What is a list of check-ups that I should do after receiving the notebook?

    Make sure you got the right specs. Make sure all the ports work. Look for dead pixels. Cracks or scratches on case. Etc.

    Then get AV software installed. I also recommend removing the Atheros software to manage connections. It adds more trouble than value.

    I think the best AV software is Norton AV corporate Edition. Yes, it's not free, but it use less resources than any other AV software I have come across, on the otherhand regular Norton AV 2004 use more resource than McAfee, very weird.
