Just go to the dorm and hooked up all the computer stuff. The S6210 is working great and looks great. Little issue, not a problem really at all though, but on the keyboard, turning up the volume specifically- the volume up key is designated to the F10 key and the F9 key (volume up) actually makes the volume go down. The volume down key (F8) mutes the volume. Is there a way to fix this? If i recall correctly, it didn't do this in the first couple of days at my house, but once i started using it up here at school, it did. Also, the school provides Norton Anti-virus software for free with the school's network. I was planning on getting the free AVG and another personal firewall online. However, with the XP SP2 i now have a firewall i guess? So should i just forget about the online antivirus and firewall software? Thanks

By all means get the antivirus program! I use AVG on my N5010, and Norton at school. Personally, I can't stand the norton and prefer the way AVG works. I'm not sure if there is any real difference in performance. Anyone know?

You sure it's not the F8 and F9 keys for the volume? F10 is generally the display swap.

As for AV, yes, you need AV badly. There are many other threads with tons of options, do a quick search and see if that helps you out.

Ok, yes i am sure its not the F8 and F9. Seems the key's functions are just moved over one key
