Does this mean that I have to buy a second battery to get that 24 hours?

Yes and no. To be more specific. You have a modular CD Rom drive bay in there. You have 4 choices for the cd-rom drive bay.

1) space filler (for lightest weight)
2) cd rom drive
3) 2nd battery
4) Bay projector

So far only place I found selling the s904 is polish site, you can see the choices here:

There is also some videos of the s904 in the other thread.

To note the drive bay battery is only 28whr (2600 mah). The main battery is 77whr (7100mah). So you would still have 71% of 24hr battery life without it. (17 hours I count)
