Anyone have info on this unit? I'm still looking/waiting for my ideal laptop which combines portability (ie 6 lbs or less) and a dedicated video card...at least ATI x600 or equivalent... with the new Sonoma chipset and processor. Currently in the running IBM T43, HP nc8230, VoodooPC M:515 and Acer Travelmate 8104. So many praises for Fujitsu, that I don't want to "settle", but would like to have my unit by mid April

    Thanks,

    Dale

The E is a nice unit that will be getting refreshed in March most likely. Since you can wait, I would. The T43 isn't shipping right now anyway.

Brian, don't you think that with the introduction of the N3510 fujitsu might just end the E series. They are too much the same class, other than slightly better graphics on the E. So if they come out with a N3xxx with an X600 the E is gone!

I don't because it's not in the same class, it's a standard 15". Although, I'd call it the N3520 and give it the same guts, just with a different display.

Do we know what are the possible specs for the new E notebook? What exactly is going to make the new E notebook different than the N3510

We don't know and frankly most aren't that interested. Demand for standard 15" displays isn't that high. So aside from knowing it will get Sonoma, that's about all we know.

I just looked at the specs...nice, but still a bit on the heavy side.
    2.95kg for the 1GB unit.
