hi guys,,, just trying to get some help with this damn laptop lol

basically to whoever knows this machine, its a the tiny, v v thin touchscreen laptop that has no cdrom drive. ive tried to attach a foto but it wont work for me for some reason......

    anyway,

i smashed the screen!!! the damn thing is so small i didnt even see it!! grrr lol
so , heres what ive done,

taken the screen and frame completely off of the laptop so that whats left is just the main body unit, and two cables hanging out of the top right hand hole where the twisting section of the screen attached.

now ive worked out that one of the connectors which is quite large ribbin type assembly, is for the touchscreen which surrounds the lcd, and so the other connector is the vga cable.

but ive never seen this sorta connector before,,,,
now i wish i cud show u a picture, i will work out why it wont let me eventually,

but its a small 11 pin black female connector of which only 9 of them are wired

i tried to work out which pins are feeding which signal, rgb etc, but im not clever enough :D so if anyone out there can help me i would really appreciate it!!

when i work this out, my aim is just to connect an external lcd to it so i can use it again. its not exactly a powerful computer but it runs most of my audio hardware so the poor wee thing is pretty vital ;)

anyway, i would love to hear any advice, even what the connector is called or whether im barking up the wrong tree completely

    thanks guys
