    Hello,

I am having problems with my Lifebook N6010, and I have pretty much tracked it down to a hardware issue. I need advice on how/where to look to fix it... and possibly avoid having to send it in to someone (if at all possible).

The screen is fuzzy, even during booting up (i.e. the screen is fuzzy when going through the bios). Tried plugging it into an external monitor, I still get the same results. Connecting to my laptop using VNC, I get the same results remotely (which is strange to me).

However, when I lift the base of the laptop on one side, the display looks normal (after some screen refreshing).

    Thanks in advance.

if your external monitor is fuzzy, i would think the problem is your gpu.

That would lead me to believe some sort of connection issue. If you feel comfortable you could take it apart and put it back together to see if that helps. If you can find one I might suggest taking a look at the service manual. If it's still under warranty I'd probably send it in.

    Thanks,
I feel comfortable taking it apart. Unfortunately, it's out of warranty.
Do you know where I can dig up a service manual?
