Hi everybody,
I'm a new member of this forum. My name is Lorenzo and I'm from Italy.
I'm searching for a new laptop to replace my old Asus A4Q00S, and my eyes fell on the Fujitsu NH751 w/ i7 chip.
Here in Italy that laptop comes, from what I know, with the HD+ display (1600x900 pixel). Since I read an impressive review of that laptop, expecially impressive about the display, and my interest is in editing photos, I was wondering if that laptop would suffice my goals.
The problem is that the notebook reviewed sports a full HD display, while the version I saw here in Italy has unfortunately a HD+ display, so I presume the panels between the HD+ version and the FHD version would be different.
So the question is, in short: what kind of panel is the HD+ version (manufacturer, tech specs, etc.)?
Does it have similar specs like the FHD version in terms of black point, contrast ratio and gamut?
Does anybody knows more informations about?
Thanks in advance
Lorenzo

Here in the Philippines, I saw the FHD version and it is better than all the Macbook lines and Dell 15z. I'm guessing the HD+ cannot compare to the FHD version.

I was in the same boat as you last year, I really loved NH751 specs and wanted to get this laptop pretty badly after reading glowing reviews for the machine. However the reviews were for the NH751 equipped with the FHD display which in Fujitsu's infinite fuktardedness decided not to offer along with USB 3.0, in the North American market.
Why even bother selling such a nice laptop with otherwise good specs + bundled Bluray player with the inferior 1600x900 HD+ display and no option for the superior 1080p one or updated ports all at a premium price??
In the end I've written off Fujitsu as a potential buy because of this and will purchase a Sony Vaio F Series instead. Good job Fujitsu, way to make inroads in North America you **cking twats.
