    Hi

I am having problems this machine as follows:

    1. Start Up without a Hard Drive installed- I can get into the BIOS Setup and/or load an OS from a USB stick
    2. Start Up with a Hard Drive Installed - power lamp on the front flashes once and the machine won't power up.

Any ideas? Is there likely to be a MOBO problem? I have tried this with 2 separate drives and ribbon cables and the end result is the same.

    Thanks for any help.

    hi

I have a fujitsu n3530 lifebook. I took out the mother board in order to replace a power jack and resolder the new connector . After I reassemble all the part together again, it won't start up even the power from the adapter indicate the power is in. it just power up a little bit and the fan turn on a few second and then off , it won't start up at all, the dvd drive can't open too. I don't know why? any body can help with this problem, I appreciate it.
