Is your magnesium alloy lid smooth? or does it have "pimples"?

Smooth...I don't think I've seen one any other way, in Fujitsu anyway.

I cleaned my lid with plain water :( now there's like small dots/pimples. Anyway to remove it?

Could it be the change in temperature? Last night, i checked the lid, it had small "pimples" on it, now it's not there. Last night i was in A/C room, could that be a problem?

you absolutely sure you weren't looking at very tiny (hard) water spots? some can be quite stubborn and a nice rub won't even wipe them off.
