Where can i get it? I have never seen one, walked in the computer store and couldn't find it. I use the normal S-video, but can't find the mini. Has anyone used it?

go there and scroll down just a bit
type in mini s-video into the search
its $12 -
I don't think that place will sell outside the US.
-
so your saying i should buy them in bulk and sell them on ebay for $25 a piece =)
-
Seriously, buy and ship to someone you know in the US, and then let them ship it to you. It's only a cable so international shipping will be cheap. Place it in an envalope and that's it! -
I just think it's silly fujitsu doesn't include the converter in other countries, how silly.
-
It is silly, now i want it so bad, cuz when i travel i use it for watch dvd. ohh well US$12 is a bit too much don't u think? ahhh well
-
im sure people would pay more than 12 for it
-
just read this thread, and thought I would add my comments and also I am stuck :-(
I am from the UK but live in Thailand. I too hunted high and low for the 3.5mm cable > s-video and finally got the Fujitsu store on the 3rd floor pantip to get for me (2,500baht later!!!) and I plug into into my laptop.
When I try to out my TV just flickers and comes back to the desktop. I have tried changing the TV formats in the Intel graphics program (eg Pal, NTSC etc) ... made sure my TV is ok. My old Dell D610 worked fine with the TV. Really making me mad I cannot output to TV. Anyone offer me some advice ? -
woodyuk, fujitsu sellin' it at US$12, u could order it in and it would be cheaper also fujitsu certified.. i'm surprised u paid that much for a cable
.. try and see if u can return it ..
-
I tried to order direct from Fujitsu Thailand, they told me go to a retailer. I tried from UK, I was told the part number I wanted (the cable) was not listed and they could not help. Try Maplin! ... anyway I have the cable now
- but cannot connect to TV! :-(
-
woodyuk - are the DVD's displaying properly on the notebook screen?
-
woodyuk, yeh Fujitsu thailand told me to get from a retailer as well, ..ohh well it sucks when u don't have an adaptor.. can someone on the forum ship it to us? it's very sad, with the port and u can't do anything to it..
-
if you don;t mind spending 2,500baht - goto Fujitsu @ 3rd floor pantip by the esclators ... thats where I got mine.
Yes I can see the movie fine on my laptop. I go into the intel properties, and select TV. My TV screen flickers for a few seconds and I see an image. It then stops and I get my LCD screen back. I have read on other forums people having issues - but not answers yet :-( -
Try the latest Intel graphic controller driver.
Here is a link to the release note.
