What do i need to install a 2nd harddrive in my Esprimo U9200? The spesifications says that it has modular bay for either extra battery, weight saver or 2nd harddrive. Does anyone know? Im also wondering where i can buy a 3G/UMTS module for the U9200.

Hi, from what I understand the 2nd battery is wedge shaped and fits under the laptop, so it lifts it up from the back. Can you see the connection points on the under side of the laptop? That's where it clicks into place.

As for the 3G module, I am not sure where you can hold of those, luckily mine was already there.

You wouldn't know how to access the wireless card and cpu would you?

I just found out that the U9200 doesnt have modular bay. Which really sucks because i bought it because it was supposed to have it. Anyway, maybe ill buy the upgradeded model U9210 when it comes out. That one has modular bay.

As for your question. The laptop build reminds me of Dell 700m/Aopen 1551. Im guessing you would have to remove the keyboard and the area where the power button is located.

Ya, it's most likely the modular bay is in the U9210 not the U9200, unfortunately.

This is from U9200 specs pdf:

and that from U9210 spec pdf:
Also, the U9210 got the new Intel GM45 chipset and DDR3 ram, so it would've been a lot more expensive than the U9200.

    I'm really depressed now... -.-
