My experience with P1.
Since others have expressed their experiences with this vendor mostly with buying a laptop, I feel it is reasonsable to report my experience with their repair department.
This is my second Fujitsu that I have owned; a P-21120 and more recently a S-6210. Neither were purchased from P1. I did send my P-2120 to P1 for repairs in the past. This was several years ago and my experience then was not stellar!
It is now a few yrs later, and it seems that Ivan either does great work or has a very large family that keeps writing favorable posts.
Here it is.
I e-mailed Ivan a few weeks ago, first asking about warranty service. I was referred to Eric the same day and issued an RMA. I wrote back to Eric asking how long it would take and how much to replace some exterior parts that were unlikley to be covered under warranty at the same time. I was told 3 working days. I was quoted a very reasonable price ($60) for replacing parts of the external case.
So I packed off my 'baby' to Portable One!
I have had experience with Sony, Toshiba, Apple service in the past, so I have some idea of how service works!
To make a long story short.
They did the repairs that were needed (correctly), in the time they said they would; for the price they said. I have never seen that before!!
I am quite pleased with their service at this time!

Eric was the one who replaced the screen on my N6010 and you cannot tell that it was exchanged, other than of course the dead pixels aren't there anymore. Very professional work.

SDM, very glad to hear you had a very good experience with Ivan and P1 like many of us here on the forums. Their strong commitment to a high level of customer service definitely won me over from the beginning.
I guess P1's great work is WHY Ivan/P1 has a very large familyi writing favorable posts[]
Hope everything goes well with your S6210. My mom can't say enough good things about hers...
