I am one of the people that actually like their N3010 Lifebook. I have upgraded the RAM, the optical drive and the hard drive. It does pretty much all I need it to do, except one thing. I travel a lot in a van and use the Laptop to watch DVDs when I'm stuck in bad weather. The internal speakers are practically non-existent. I use a small set of battery powered externals that work well. If at all possible I'd like to not have to lug the external speakers along when I travel. There are more than enough electronic gee-gaws that I pack into my truck that, if possible I'd like to eliminate some. It's not critical, but if anyone can think of a way to boost the volume on my internal speakers it would be helpful.
