I have a re-occuring problem with the N3510 which I cannot seem to solve. I put the machine into hibernation (not suspend) and I am 100% sure the machine is totally off. Battery is 100% charged before the hiberntation. 1 day later the battery is down to 65%, 2 days at 32%, day 3 dead! There are no peripherals plugged into any of the ports, notebook is in a bag, in a temp controlled environment. If I take the battery out, then the charge remains, and power is at like 98% after 5 days.
My summary is that there is something in the internal circuitry which is drawing power, even when the notebook is supposed to be OFF. Anyone else notice something strange, or is this a 1 off?

Hibernation still drains SOME battery life i think since if i put my machine into hibernation and then take the battery off and then plug it back in and turn the machine on, it says that it failed to recover from hibernation and starts up from the beginning. But how MUCH battery it uses i'm not sure.

My older Sony Vaio would not take ANY power in Hibernate. My desktop machines are OFF when in hibernate. The Fujitsu does seem to be taking power, so it is either doing something different, or my particular machine is in some way broken....

    Thanks
