    N3510 buyers, when will P1 ship?

    I guess someone on this forum must have ordered the N3510 by now. So to whom ever did, did P1 inform you of the delay? And are they getting a unit just for you, or are they stocking up on them?

    I wanna know if I should just go ahead and order, to get my unit ASAP, or I can wait a few more days (sleep on the decision a couple of nights [ :p]) and I would still get my unit on the nearest day possible!

    I ordered mine from p1 last week. They said my order should ship by the end of the month. This weekend my order was updated to "manufacturer direct ship". I don't expect it until the beginning of March, though it could come before March 1st 'if I'm lucky'.

    Does that mean it ships directly from fujitsu? The whole point of ordering from P1 is that they inspect the notebook for any problems before shipping!

    I believe manufacturer direct ship still goes through P1. But what does it matter? It's a new item with a manufacturer's warranty. It doesn't need P1 opening it up and "testing" it out, that's what you do with used or refurbished items, not brand new/sealed items.

    I just ordered my N3510 yesterday and was told P1 expects their shipment between Feb 25th to the end of the month if all goes as expected. They will change the hard drive and add memory; and I would receive it around the first week of March. That's all if they receive their shipment when they expect.

    I'm really looking forward to receiving my new laptop with all I've heard about Fugitsu here!
