Well I just got my N3510 back, after having to send Laptop's through FedEx three times. I finally got one with a good LCD.

I am formating it right now, and will post again under this thread when I retest it.

Lucky you. I have to wait for at least one more week before mine gets repaired and sent back to me.
Did fujitsu actually check the screen before sending it this time, or did the streak of bad apples just run out of stock? [ :p]

No they checked it this time. The second time they sent it back is when they didn't check it, hence why I had a third time.

I don't think they wanted to keep paying all that shipping.

Also, they replaced the LCD as a whole this time, case and all. :)

Hope your system gets back working at 100%.

Just wondering, does Fujitsu have a policy saying that they will replace the screen if it is faulty? What is their dead pixel policy? Like i have seen a screen that has like bubbles on it. Not exactly bubbles, but it looks like theres air bubbles between the screen and the glossy layer. It sort of looks like when you see motor oil on water, has a green shine to it.

I had some other odd defect in my C2330 Fujitsu. They replaced the LCD on it and sent it back. That LCD had the same issue. They found out all their C2330s had that problem.

So, they sent me a brand new N3510 as a replacement. Now all is well with my LCD.

It doesn't have to be a dead pixel for them to replace it, any defect will do. They would even replace the LCDs cover if it came with a scratch.

Fujitsu's dead pixel policy is 3 dead pixels for a replacement. However, if the pixel is closer to the center of the screen, they will take 1 dead pixel as a warrant to replace the screen.
