    Hallo all!

I am very much going to purchase the N5010 from (possibly) Portable One. The model which catches my attention is described thus: 3.0Ghz processor, 786Mb RAM, 60Gb hard drive, and DVD-RW (as seen at http://www.laptopsinc.com/Merchant2...60104-768&Category_Code=FUJIN&Product_Count=3).

Is there any options that you would suggest? Those which catch my sight include the "Fujitsu 3 Year Upgrade for $100" and the option to "Upgrade to 7K60 (7200RPM 60GB) Hard Drive $140". Could somebody describe the first option? Is it the standard extended warranty? Just how fast of an upgrade is the second above mentioned option?

And how exactly does the warranty system work? I am also enticed by Fujitsu's "Screen Protection Plan". Is there a way of purchasing this from Fujitsu and still buy the notebook from PortableOne?

Thank you very much for your time and assitance.

    Jimmy G.

Both upgrades are worth the money if you have it. I would strongly recommend the 3 year upgrade, which covers most anything except droppage and things like that. If you have to pick one or the other though, I would get the warranty. The drive can always be upgraded later. I'm not sure if you can buy the screen protection from Fujitsu direct, worth a call to them though to find out.
