    Hello

I have just bought on Ebay from dvdsuper999 a new lcd screen for my Fujitsu n6010. When i open the box I saw that the screen only had one connector at the bottom and not two like my old broken one.

Are those connectors for the lamps?

Did my old one have two lamps and the one that he send me has one lamp?

Did the N6010 ever have one lamp?

Can some tell me what the two black wires at the top to the frame connected to a metal piece do?

Right now when I connect all the wires, the screen turns one and then all black, the light does ot turn on.....

    Any thoughts?

Did the seller advertise this screen as being the one for the N6010?
If so and its the wrong one or it doesnt work then he should arrange for you to send it back and get a refund.

Get the part number off the old screen and see if it matches? Let the seller know what the part number is also and tell him it doesnt match.

I will check the part nubmer when I get home, the seller replied and told me that its the right part for the n6010.
When I plugged the screen its initially turns on and then the light turns off.

Is this a lcd issue of the hardwre issue?

Does anyone know what those two black wire that end up at the top of the screen do?

Can this be cause by the inverter? Or the reaon that I don;t have two connectors from my new LCD. THe new LCD has only one connector that connects to the inverter.

ok the part numbers don't match but the seller told me that this is the right LCD for the n6010. THe new LCD is not a LG LCD but a adaptable lcd made in China.
The problem is that the screen turns on nicely for 2 sec and than the lamp turns off. When I unplug the connector for the inverter from the main board and reconnect it the lcd turn on again for 2 secs and the lamp goes off again. Its like the lamp does not want to stay on.

    Can someone help me ?????
What causes this issue, I don't want to buy another inverter if its not it.

    Please let me knoe...aynone???

ok I checked the lid switch and I play with it, the lcd would turn on again for 2 secs and turn off...
I connected the old lcd and same thing the lcd turns on for 2 secs and than turns off.

Can we conclude that its a inverter issue??

if your inverter has two connectors and your old screen has two connectors you had a dual lamp screen. If the new one only has one connector then its a single lamp screen and will not work unless you replace the inverter but that would be a downgrade since dual lamps are better quality.

If you still have an issue with this as they didn't point out exactly the specs you can threaten them with a negative feedback as a last resort.
