I bought a refurb N6010 March last year and so far it had gone thru 2 warranty service.
The first service was for power inverter that was dead, causing the LCD backlight to die. $150 worth of repair.
The second service was for bad mobo, causing the RAMs not functioning correctly. I going to pick up my notebook tomorrow (after 1 month repair), so don't know how much that cost.

After witnessing the frequent and expensive nature of notebook repair (not to mention the long wait), I'm wondering if it's possible to extend the warranty?
    Thanks

FYI: that system board replacement was quoted at $1400 if done without warranty.

yes i believe Fujistu allows you to extend your warranty as long as you are still within your original warranty period, which wouldn't be a bad idea at all.

I spoke to the senior sales person and I was told that warranty can be extended 30 days before existing warranty expired at the latest.

And since they screwed up my warranty the first time, I got 3 months bonus warranty.
