I'm in the process of configuring the N6210 @ portableone.com and I need your opinions. These are what I'm getting for sure.
    1)TV Tuner
    2)Windows XP
    3)3-year warranty

However, I'm still debating over the RAM and Harddrives.

    -RAM
I'm definitely going with 2GB. I'm wondering if I should have it upgraded by P1 ($400) or install it myself for $280 and (probably?) void the warranty. What are your thoughts?

    -Harddrive
This is a bit more difficult for me. I already have an 150GB external HD, but I still want two HDs. I plan to use the external HD strictly for backup. The question is should I go with:
    1)2x100GB(5400RPM) or
    2)2x60GB(7200RPM)
Reading countless reviews I know the 7K60 is the KING. But, I also know the 5K100 isn't far behind because of it's advantage in areal density. Is the 7K60 really that much better? It'll be great if there's a 7K60 + 5K100 option...

    Thank you.

Well I would just install the RAM myself. How can they know if you installed RAM or not, if you're voiding your warranty. It's ok, if you're saving a significant amount of money, go for it. As for the HD option, I would go with the 5400. I wouldn't mix it either. There's a thread at this forum on this topic here: http://www.notebookforums.com/showthread.php?t=96032

RAM - I really don't see the need for 2GB, though you may have a special requirement I don't know about. Most people can't make use of more than 1GB even if they wanted to. This will not void your warranty.

HDD - it comes down to performance vs storage space. I think the 2x100 gives you more flexibility without sacraficing much in teh way of performance. I would probably lean that way, little less heat too.

    Thanks for your advices.
After thinking over it all night, I called P1 and finally placed the order :D Victor@P1 was very helpful and I went with the following specs:

RAM- 256x2 He told me that although upgrading it would not void their warranty, it will in fact void Fujitsu's warranty. That really didn't concern me as long as P1 will fix it. He also told me that they use a RAM called Swissbit. I never heard of this company and that's what finally made me settle on the upgrading-myself-route. I'm going with either Crucial, Kingston, or Corsair. Any suggestions out of those 3?

HD- 60GBx1 Even while speaking on the phone, this was a very hard decision. Again, I decided to leave a slot open and upgrade to a 7K100(when it hits the stores) in the future. I just thought 60GB would be enough for me in the short term. Just for those people who are considering buying from P1, they will allow you to "mix it up" (ie 7K60 + 5K100) He also noted that the OS will be on the faster HD and the other HD will simply be storage/formatted.

    The final specs are:
    1.86Ghz Pentium M
    256MBx2
    7K60x1
    TV tuner
    12-cell battery
Dual Layer DVD Writer (free P1 upgrade)
    Windows XP Pro
    Fujitsu 3 year warranty
    $2416

This includes tax, 2day shipping and a DEAD PIXEL check.
I am really really psyched that I've finally ordered after countless hours of researching. Thank you guys so much for such a informative forum and I look forward to put up a review by the end of this month.
