The integrated Intel Graphics card isn't that great, but if you are only playing solitaire it will be fine. Something like the m1437 with the ATI x700 card will be much better. Without knowing your budget it is hard to help.

What type of games are you planning to play? As zazonz said it is only good for very basic games, but is sufficient for general everyday tasks. Rest of the spec looks good.

Yes, DVD's dont require too high graphic cards & can be run on virtually any graphics card available in the market today.

The screen is the most important factor for DVD movies as it should have good viewing angles & should not kinda look 'washed out' when there are black(darker) areas on the screen.

Well, XGA is just the screen resolution which just gives an idea on how many pixels the screen has(1024X768). It is good for surfing, documents and general use. If you want to see 2 programs side by side(like 2 spreadsheets) then you"ll require higher resolution. DVD's look nicier in widescreen but they are also viewable in regular screens too.

The physical property of an LCD varies from one manufacturer to another and the best way to know about is to see the screen which is not possible in most cases. I would suggest that you take a look at the pictures of the Fujitsu screens in the reviews section to get an idea of the quality of the screen. Although the notebook being reviewed might not be the same, but you can get a general idea of Fujitsu screens.
