Seems that I am the first one to discover them on the whole web again :)

Fujitsu Siemens has two new models in their Drivers & Downloads section: the Amilo Xi2528 and Xi2548.

Both platforms are Santa Rosa (you can download Robson drivers). It features ESATA and CIR (I don't know what that is). Also an USB TV tuner and lots of other extra's.
The video card is unknown (it sais Onboard but it can also be a dedicated one since they makes such mistakes). I just can't wait for this notebook to show up! I think it has an 8600GS and the Xi2548 to have the 8600GT or maybe even 8800?

The Xa2528 is also launched. It has an 8600GS with AMD Turion X2. Same as the Xa1526 (design) but with webcam and newer hardware of course.

Any inkling of dates in which these could surface in the UK?

No dates named yet, but the Xa2528 in a few weeks I think. The other Xi series will take longer, because I have a feeling that they might have an 8800 or HD2900 mobile in it.

Strange that they didn't put GeForce 8600M GT (even the GDDR2 version) in the Xa2528. It's a 17" laptop after all. The 8600M GS is not much more powerful than the Go 7600 found in the Xa1526.

It seems that these models are showing up on the internet. The Xi2528 has an 8600 (256 MB, nothing else said) so not sure if it is GS or GT.
The Xi2548 is totally unknown and I think it will have a powerful 8800  Just like the Xi1526 compared to the Xi1546.

Can't WAIT to hear about these!

Hoping the Xi2528 will be an affordable little powerhouse!
