    Ordered my S6210 today

    Hi everybody,

    After months of searching and comparing specs vs. price for the "perfect" notebook that as we all know doesn't exist I came pretty close to one.

    Today I ordered my Fujitsu S6210 from portableone.
    Their customer service answered promptly the phone, and politely answered all my questions. I also asked for their free dead pixel checking.

    Realizing that the S6620 with the dothan isn't worth the $200 for my needs, I ordered the base model for $1,499 since I will be using it primarily for school work.
    My estimated shipping date is August 11th (lol can't wait for it to arrive [ :)] )

    I also saw the Fujitsu UX model; it certainly looks pretty good, but also costs a little more.

    Anyways I just wanted to thank all the admins, mods, and all the users for their great support on this forum. This forum is truly very informative.

    It's a pleasure browsing through the topics.

    Keep up the great work!

    P.S.
    I also called Dell today to ask about the new 700m notebooks, but it seems like they won't be released before September.

    Congratulations on your purchase. I think you made a good decision. Let us know what you think about it when it arrives. I know it is hard to wait for it, but try to focus on other things.

    To clarify, the UX is not a Fujitsu product, it's a Portable One product.
