    Ordering from Portable One... how long to receive?

    This question is for those who have ordered from Portable One and have customized specifications to their needs. How long did it take from the day you ordered until you received it? I'm assuming most are using the free FedEx 2-day shipping.

    I know for the Fujitsu models, they say it will take 5-10 business days (i.e. 1 to 2 weeks), but I'm wondering what some real world times were. Thanks.

    It depends on their stocks. Sometimes they might not have a certain configuration and hence will need to order it from fujitsu (TN) (which would take a couple of days (that's what happened with me) or sometimes from Japan and this is what would take 2 weeks. If item is in stock and you are getting it as is or with some minor change (like Rams) they might even ship the same day.

    Your best bet is to contact them cause they would know best what they have. I am almost certain that the S6/S7 and N6 will have a longer wait now, cause they wouldn't be keeping a large stock seeing as how they would be replaced pretty soon.

    just received an email that my status is now at 'shipping'

    however when i look up the tracking number via UPS, it says the shipment is from Japan to Morgan Hill, CA. Does this mean they are still waiting for the notebook and haven't done the upgrades yet? Hm I'm confused.

    it's nearly 10 business days now.
