    Hi,

Since I turned on my P-Series Lifebook this morning, there has been a white band across the whole screen, about 10mm thick. As far as I know, it hasn't been banged or anything since last night, so I don't know what's happened! Anything similar happened to anyone else, and what's the best way to resolve it, or do I need to buy a new screen? Thanks, Matt.

Try hooking it to an external screen as a place to start. That will tell you if it the screen or something else.

Is definitely the screen I'm afraid, put it up on my Laptop and it seems to be fine on here. How easy is it to replace the screen by myself, or would you advise taking it in to a shop somewhere? Any rough guesses on the price?
    Cheers again, Matt.
