Does anyone know where I can locate 1GB RAM for my P1510D other than from Fujitsu who wants $900 for it? :)

Thanks IrishRover...and yes I can purchase for $900 from the Fujitsu "One Eyed" Pirates  a 1 gig stick for $900.
The link you sent only gives me up to 512mb which is what I have...any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Since your memory is PC2700 I would suggest then you follow this link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?DEPA=0&type=&Description=pc2700+notebook+memory&Submit=ENE&Ntk=all&N=0&minPrice=&maxPrice=&Go.x=0&Go.y=0.

I visted Fujitsu's website and typed in your model number and the only result I got was for 512MB. Crucial's site stated that the maximum amount of RAM that was available for your model to be 512MB. As I stated before, consult your computer documentation before purchasing.

Thanks IrishRover for your link. I contacted Fujitsu Tech Support directly last Friday and also in the past month and both times I was told that 1 gig is available for $900 to replace the 512mb I have now. I will visit with New Egg to see if this will work for me! :)

IrishRover...I reviewed your recommeded RAM @New Egg but before I hit the sumbit button to purchase I compared the photo with my 512mb RAM and my RAM is totally different in spec and fit. My 512mb ram from Fujitsu states PC2-3200-33-10-21 D2P400 2Rx16 DDR2 SDRAM 512mb 400MHz CL=3. Hope that this could be some clue as to what I need. In the past I googled for the PC2-3200 DDR SDRAM but the Fujitsu "One Eyed Pirates" were the only one in the WORLD that had them in stock...Please advise if you can assist.

Thought I would help you out here sanyosteve. A P5010D uses standard DDR 266 SODIMM Memory, you can also use DDR 333 PC2700 SODIMM Memory for it. Cannot comment on Fujitsu's prices, but you should be able to pickup it up for for around $100 to $150.

Thanks ivang for your assistance. The problem lies in the physical size of the RAM memory something Fujitsu calls a Micro DIMM which with results in not being able to find one that will physically fit the pc. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Ivan should know what he is talking about. As he used to be one of the best at selling Fujitsus.

man, I wish P1 would sell them again. Oh well. Glad to see you are still around, Ivan.

Thanks, always here to help regardless.

MDIMM is for a different machine altogether, do you have a P5010D or a
P1510D? If you missed posted and have a P1510D than you do need a MDIMM.
