    Hi all,

I've owed my P7120 for almost 2 years. Apart from a cracked motherboard and the letters rubbing off my keyboard (both repaired under warranty), I've not had any problems.

However, in the past few days my screen has been causing problems.

Today the screen turned white and only came out of it after 5 minutes of fiddling. (I knew that the laptop was still working as Outlook gave me the 'new message received' sound and my MSN Messenger 'pinged' when someone tried to contact me.)

Last week I had a similar issue but the screen has turned black instead of white! (It was definitely still on and displaying black).

Has anyone else had similar problems?

Might want to hook it to an external screen. That would tell you if it's the screen or something else.

Mine goes black usually and/or flickers. I put it down to a dodgy connection. A wiggle of the screen usually sorts it out. (this is on a 4 year old amilo D)
