The battery life in the P772 is actually very good, but I am finding that it drains rather quickly when not in use. For example the battery is dead after two weeks. My other P series computers had a small drain, but nothing like that. when the battery is removed there is no drain, so I believe that the battery is OK. Of course it is inconvenient to remove the battery when not in use, since it is not normally plugged in. I am quite sure that the power is off, and I disabled hibernation and suspend. Does anyone have any similar experiences or ideas as to the problem? Thanks.

Is there a USB fast charge setting somewhere?
Could be something powering the USB ports. The old MSI GT683 laptops would sometimes keep power to the USB ports while in hibernate mode (could never figure out exactly how), while my desktop keeps standby power to the USB ports when powered off unless you shut off the PSU breaker switch.
