Basically almost decided to get the Hp2530P and then chanced across the Fujitsu P8020 today. Glad to have a choice.

    So a few questions:

    1. How is the screen compared to the HP 2530P in terms of brightness, saturation, color gamut, and viewing angle?

    2. Does the P8020 use a regular 2.5" drive size that I can upgrade? Hp uses only 1.8" drives so that is a negative.

    3. How is the battery life compared to each other?

    4. How are the speakers? This is a pretty important factor as we can do small group presentation sometimes for a few people.

    5. How is the customer service now? I owned three Fujitsu P2*** in the past and at that time, customer service was great.

Any other pros and cos of the P8020 compared to the HP?

    Advice gratefully accepted.

    Thanks,
    UL

I see that you've found some answers to your own questions in the similar thread that you started in the HP forum so i won't repeat that information here.

My experience with Fujitsu customer support is that it has been good.
If you do go with the P8020 i suggest if you've not come across this seller that you have a look over the laptops that they sell.

It is Fujitsu outlet store on Ebay and i bought something from that seller before and i was pleased with the transaction. That seller seems to get negatively rated for customer service issues with Fujitsu and i suspect other issues like VAT which some people might not wish to pay.

Thanks for the links including Fujitsu refurbs. Actually the HP thread generated zero answers.

    Thanks,
