    Can this be done at all?

    Assuming it's so, is it very difficult?

    I assume it takes a 1.8" mini?

    It takes a 2.5 Sata HD.
    It can be done but you're going to have to dismantle your laptop. The HD is parked underneath the palmrest on the right hand side.

    It doesn't look that difficult, the most challenging thing might be getting the keyboard of.
    Just make sure you have the correct tools for the job.
