This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Phoenix Bios 1.26, no USB in boot order

    Hi, I have an old fujitsu lifebook (C serise) with PhoenixBios version 1.26 and was trying to boot it from usb stick (linux on pen drive http://www.pendrivelinux.com/linux-mint-6-flash-drive-install-via-cd/ ). In bios boot menu there is no option to specify USB drive in boot order. I couldn't find any link on fujitsu site for bios update, has anyone been able to get around it?
